Hi Nancy:
My dad found the penny rounds a bit tricky. But the tile cutter does a pretty decent job of making a straight score across the tile which allows you to break it evenly. It's just that they are so small and fiddly. And each half tile had to be placed individually along the edges (as opposed to the sheets of whole tile), which was time-consuming.

Was it hard to work with penny tile? Was it hard to get the edges straight when making cuts?

[...] Karyn conceived of a beautiful chandelier for our dining room, inspired by similar ones she had seen, and dedicatedly fashioned it at her studio over the past few months. Last week it was ready for hanging and is unquestionably the most beautiful and dramatic element in our entire apartment. K special ordered several different types of branches and chose these ones as most suited to her concept. She laboriously painted them, coated them with resin and applied jewels and crystals to arrive at this stunning suspension evoking coral and the aquatic realms which we love so. [...]

Hi there,
I sympathize enormously with you both, having had a dreadful experience with a contractor upstate in a little place I'm renovating. My case with this contractor will soon be in the hands of a civil lawyer and the Attorney General's office and the unfortunate fellow might well spend at least 6 months in jail for fraud and embezzlement.
Bon courage, as they say,
Liz (Apt #42 upstairs)

Hi,
K, you and Luke have staying power. What a tough go! But it'll work, as the saying goes, " you must crack a few eggs to get the souffle!"
The dust will eventually settle, the good thing is that you and Luke have a sense of humor and are still talking!
Love,
Mom
